INSECTS AND THE CHANGES IN WEATHER
There are seasons and these seasons change from time to time. Some seasons are cold, and some are warm. These seasonal changes also represent our moods from day to day, week to week and all year round. We could feel motivated on one day and the next, we want to stay in bed or curled up on the sofa in a blanket and sip coffee or watch TV.
These moods are perfectly normal, showing the dynamism of the human personality. In the same vein, being an insect is no different. Insects could be active for a specific time and appear inactive on other times. This is not as a result of mood swings or emotional ups and downs but due to climatic factors. Insects, just as human beings, respond to seasonal changes in weather.

In dry season:
You would feel some discomfort as an insect majorly because of the lack of water. Water is vital for all living creatures to survive. Therefore, an insect would look for any way to find it. The temperature rises in the warmer months, especially summer and spring. The insects realize that its water supply is reduced because of the rising temperatures. Therefore, will decide to remain in your house to have access to water. Expect to find them under sinks and water tunnels.
After heavy rainfall:
You might think that heavy rains wash everything away, think again. What serves as a means of destruction clears the path for other forms of survival. One particular insect which sees this as an opportunity is the Ant. Together with its fellow colony inhabitants, it would ride on the water using a "floating ant raft" to get to a new location. And that new location might be your home or facility. I guess you know what happens next.
In the cooler months
Insects don't mind a little warmth in the colder months, especially in winter. A good reason would be for the sake of hibernating until the warmer months or for basic survival. Usually, they love to hide in the nooks and crannies of your house, making sure to stay away from being noticed. You might eventually see them but in smaller numbers. Don't let your guards down as they still pose a threat now as much as before. Roaches, spiders and ants usually act in this way.
