I am working on getting deeper into the history and story behind my current WIP’s. It is an extraordinary feeling to be reconstructing my own worldview while researching for a project.
In many ways, I believe that the education system failed history. So many times over. There are facts and details about both Ellis and Angel islands that are so imperative to America’s story that I am experiencing first hand as an adult that I should have learned about sooner.
Part of me is having a hard time breaking down my women due to not wanting to spoil the story before you read it. Let me know if you are interested about learning about my historical findings in the comments, and I am going to work on making more long form content about the historical contact behind each woman’s story.
