JM Watercolors My name is Jackie Miller and I am a local watercolor artist in Marion, Maryland. Jackie Miller has painted for as long as she can remember.

Self-taught, she pursued her training through books and experimentation. Although proficient with many media, watercolor is her medium of choice as it allows her to paint and be a wife and mom to four children at the same time. “I have been told I am obsessed with my painting. I paint each day, but the time devoted to each piece is sandwiched between family things and work. I may just add one or

two brush strokes as I pass the painting. This gives each work a fresh look.” Family is also very important to Jackie, and when she paints everyone is welcome to watch or join in. Many of Jackie’s paintings reflect her love for the state, which she calls “My Maryland.” The sport of lacrosse is also evident in her work, and it comprises a number of her many commissions. Her versatile style ranges from realistic too impressionistic. Her work has been exhibited in galleries as well as solo and group shows where she has won numerous First Place awards. Jackie’s works are also in private collections throughout the US. China, Russia, and Germany.

Sunday, (Palm Sunday), I woke up thinking of Jesus. I think I had a dream about Him, but could not remember the dream. Later that morning , I sat down and painted this painting of Him. It is very impressionistic, something different from my style.
So on this Good Friday, I decided to share this painting of our Lord. My hope is that everyone who see this will know how much He loves you. May Good bless you all and keep you safe.
