A grand entry to this Italian villa, framed by two handcrafted water features finished in imported tile and stone. A custom, hand-cut cobblestone driveway leads the way, softened by delicate greenery growing between each stone for a timeless, beautifully refined arrival.

A slow kind of summer afternoon—limelight hydrangeas along the stream, stone waterfalls feeding the koi pond, and a putting green woven seamlessly into the landscape.

We wanted the garden to feel as considered as the house: a French parterre of hand-pruned boxwood, and a driveway laid in antique brick reclaimed from an old French estate.

Just beyond the wine room, a romantic Italian courtyard made for slow evenings and good company. Layers of deep greens, red, white, and golden blooms complement the weathered stone, climbing ivy, and old-world character of the garden. A few of our favorite details from this intimate courtyard.

Modern Southwest meets Hill Country — a stunning Texas xeriscape for a sunny front yard. Dramatic Blue agave serve as sculptural focal points, while masses of soft, flowing Mexican feather grass sway in the breeze. A row of Texas sage lines the house, its vibrant purple blooms adding soft contrast. Thornless prickly pear cacti contribute blue-green pads and colorful blooms, alongside low-growing sedum in shades of green and gold. Mature vitex trees add dappled shade and lavender blooms overhead. Clean, drought-tolerant, and low-maintenance

Built around a sleek, modern pool with a black granite negative edge, the water appears to disappear into the horizon, a dark, mirror-like plane reflecting sky, light, and tree canopy with an almost glassy calm.
Turkish limestone decking wraps the perimeter, its soft natural tones balancing the boldness of the granite. Warm underfoot, clean to the eye.
Laminar jets send smooth, arcing streams across the surface, precise and sculptural by day, softly glowing at night. As evening falls, light traces the infinity edge and the water appears to float.

Sabal palms at the entry of this Highland Park residence amplify the architecture’s Mediterranean character, while pond cypress and podocarpus give the property its privacy and its presence. The rear garden was designed as a true outdoor room. The glass-walled plunge pool lined in cobalt mosaic tile, a Brazilian Ipe deck, and a fireplace detailed in custom tile carry the space comfortably year round.

A formal French garden works best when it feels like a natural extension of the house, almost as if the architecture continues outward into the landscape. The goal is harmony, not competition.

From the antique brick of the motor court to the ornate limestone of the water feature, this French Château estate was designed to feel both grand and genuinely livable. Symmetrical parterres, glass tile pool, and carefully composed seasonal plantings — each element considered not just for how it looks, but for how it feels to call it home. This is the kind of work that reminds us why we do what we do.
