All gave some. Some gave all.
Today is more than the start of summer — it’s a day to honor the men and women who never made it home.
I’m one of the lucky ones. My dad was drafted into Vietnam and came back — Purple Heart and all. It could have easily gone a different way. He made it home, but many of his Army brothers didn’t. He carried that with him, and I carry it too.
As we enjoy this long weekend with family and friends, I hope you’ll join me in pausing at 3:00 PM today for the National Moment of Remembrance. Just 60 seconds to reflect on the immeasurable sacrifice made by so many so that we could have this day, this freedom, and this life.
From all of us at Fibrenew Denton-Argyle — thank you to those who gave everything. You are not forgotten.
