A higher energy bill doesn't always mean it's just hotter outside. When your AC isn't properly maintained, it has to work much harder to cool your home. Dirty coils, clogged filters, low refrigerant, and worn parts can all reduce efficiency, causing your system to run longer and use more electricity.
