Last week, we brought together our member local trades businesses with City staff for a roundtable discussion, with one shared goal: developing Cushing into a more business-friendly community.

This is one of many things your Chamber does behind the scenes. We build the relationships and make sure that when our members have a concern, they're not facing it alone; they have a collective voice, and that voice gets heard.

This shower pan is a perfect example of why we at Tiger Remodeling stay educated on the shower systems and building materials we use.

Building products and installation methods are constantly changing. Simply knowing how to install something isn’t enough—you need to understand why it’s installed that way, what the manufacturer requires, and what can happen when those requirements aren’t followed.

If your contractor isn’t educated on the products and systems they’re putting into your home, GET A SECOND OPINION. Get a third opinion if you need to.

And that doesn’t have to be Tiger Remodeling. Call another qualified contractor. Talk to the manufacturer. Do your research.

ASK QUESTIONS.
What waterproofing system are you using?
Why are you using it?
Are you following the manufacturer’s installation requirements?
Are you trained or educated on that system?
What warranty comes with the installation?

A good contractor should be able to answer those questions and explain why they’re doing what they’re doing.

Your home is one of your biggest investments. It deserves more than “that’s how I’ve always done it.” Or “that’s just how it is.”

🏠🐅 ANOTHER ONE WRAPPED UP! 🐅🏠

We got this project finished up with schluter waterproofing products and the warranties filed for some awesome customers!

This one got a fresh new look from top to bottom:
🔸 Brand-new shower
🔸 New flooring
🔸 New window
🔸 Fresh paint

We’re proud of how this one turned out, but even more importantly, we’re proud to stand behind the work we do. When the job is finished, we want our customers to know they’re taken care of.
