A week and a half ago on Friday we were leveling out the last load of dirt on our demo project in Currie. In just the short span of 10 working days we were able to completely transform the look of the lot that held the Old Liquor Store. Big thanks to everyone who made it possible to get it done as quickly as attainable.
We’d also like to give a big thank you to the City for sharing our building demolition project on their page and for the opportunity to be a part of it.
We truly appreciate the trust you placed in us to complete this project. It was a pleasure working with you, and we’re proud to help improve our community one project at a time.

This week our crew has been hard at work demoing a major building located in Currie MN. Aside from the inconsistencies of the weather we’ve been moving along quickly and ahead of schedule!

Large demolition jobs require the right equipment, experience, and attention to safety, and we’re proud to deliver all 3️⃣ A big thank you to our hardworking team for their dedication and efficiency.

Good Morning from Ankrum Excavating.
We have been hard at it again this last week trying to work around the rain forecast, and get ready for the next big project in Currie With a little bit of maintenance in the middle

✅ replacing shallow clay tile

✅ 10” blowout

✅ small group of trees removed

✅ Excavator home for bath fluids change and cylinder reseal

✅ skid-loader got new shoes

✅ hauled out some concrete and boulders

✅ widened out driveway approach

✅ equipment staged for building demo

Happy Sunday everyone, as some of you may have noticed I forgot to make a post last week😬

We’ve been so busy helping customers and keeping projects moving that we’ve fallen behind on our weekly Facebook updates!

First, thank you to all of our customers for keeping us busy. Over the past couple weeks, we have been hard at work tackling grading, tile fixes land clearing, parking lots, and new drainage mains

While we may not always have time to post, we’re always working hard in the field to deliver quality results and keep projects on schedule.

Happy Monday everyone! Tree roots seem to be a common problem lately, if you have any trees within 20’ of a perforated tile (depending on the size of course 🌳) it is always best to keep an eye to make sure it is still flowing and draining or just remove the whole tree entirely, because once they get one little root hair into the tile and get a drink of moisture they will grow like crazy and you will be having issues in the near future!

✅ This week we were able to locate yet again another tree root issue that had 5 acres of water backed up for the last week and half

✅ Replaced another failing intake

✅ Removed some massive tree stumps

✅ Removed a couple smaller pine trees

✅ Removed some hedge and shrubs

✅ Cleaned small section of ditch, culvert will be cleaned at a later date

This last week was a little slower than most with the rain delays we had Monday and Tuesday, but we were still able to finish up this 60’ bin pad so that the floor could get poured Thursday. We also were able to get this sidewalk and driveway removed and hauled gravel back in for new driveway to be poured after they complete the garage addition

Hey everyone! As the weather is changing 🍂 and the ground is starting to freeze 🧊 here a couple things to keep in mind so your drainage is working the best when you need it the most!

Here’s a good example of what you don’t want your creek/ditch to look like 🚫
(Yes this picture was taken this year just this last Monday) This particular blockage was cause by some beaver dams🦫 Once removed we were able to drop the water over 3 feet to regain full capacity of the creek again.
