A quick note about our firewood: these logs have been down for approximately 9–16 months, and we started splitting this inventory about a month ago. The wood is covered during rain and overnight, then uncovered during the day so it can breathe and continue drying properly.

Although every piece hasn’t been split and seasoned for a full year, it will continue curing over the next 3–6 months and will be ready as the colder weather arrives. We’ve never had a customer complaint about our firewood, and we’re committed to being honest about how it is stored and prepared.

One referral turned into three properties—and our crew delivered.

We installed 50 yards of dark brown mulch and 10 yards of natural mulch at two lake properties, then headed to Sandy Springs for another 200 bales of pine straw and 8 yards of mulch. Last night I walked the entire project and showed where we’re at. The paver area is coming together, and we’re now finishing the seating wall, fire pit and gas burner setup. Inspection is Monday.

My guys absolutely kicked ass getting us to this point.

Hammer Landscapes is only about 2 months old, and this was our first major neighborhood project, so I’ll admit the daily updates got away from me a little. 😂 But we’re just getting started.

We’ve got around 16 more installs on the books next week, then we start our next neighborhood in Canton, GA on September 14.
