I started building a tree house/ water slide in 2020(COVID) for all my grands. I couldn’t stop adding. Mostly pallet wood and scrap.
I stopped adding in 2024. We had a lot of enjoyment and a few small injuries. I can’t find the finished photos but it got bigger than I expected.
Sleeping area upstairs, fireplace, water slide, regular slide, tv room, balcony, and of course my workshop for 3+ years.
I will try and find the other photos because the grands lost interest and I kinda let it fade into the past. When it cools off, I’m ripping it down to a comfortable skeleton. Keeping the fire place for the winter, plus it’s going to take a jackhammer to knock it down.

Yes, I’ve been getting into creating the memories you guys are giving me. Had to extend the piece once so far for two additional memories. Have some more that are coming to me. May have to extend again and happy to do so.
I was given something from my cousin Cindy that came from my uncle about the brothers watching the chickens fly on the power lines and freezing. It triggered my memory that that’s what I was told as a kid in the smoke house gathering. Think it was uncle Deans smirky face that said it.
There are so many memories I’ve done but you’re getting two.
