Always love when one of our wonderful clients send us updates on how things are years later.

This particular client went through the wringer with certain agencies to prove that this tidal breakwater was washing away their property & home. The home was on the verge of washing out & had to have emergency stabilization work done as well due to some of our record floods here in the Lowcountry.

We were able to get the yard raised & protect the property, with a timber bulkhead, from any further loss. This video shows how rough the breakwater strikes are against the wall, so you can imagine how that would erode an unprotected property.

Wrapped up a 300’ FRP sheet pile bulkhead with timber wale and anchors this week after it came to our desk almost 6 years ago ! We also did some drainage easement repairs while we was on site for the town . Our crew did a great job putting this one in . There was many challenges and 5 brutal weeks of extreme heat .My hat is off to them and I thank them very much for there hard work in the HEAT!

Wall and dock replacement, recently finished on Edisto Island.
This one was tougher than we thought it would be, but we got it done! Their old timber wall had failed making the ground was very unstable. Add to that very little room between a failed wall and home foundation, as well as no practical barge access. 🙏
What do you do?! We built a bridge as we pressed forward to salvage as much as property as possible. Driving 20’ frp sheet piles, anchoring, backfilling, and then starting over again. All said and done we also built a new pier-head, floating dock, and wooden gangway to finish it off.
