Corvallis/Albany homeowners — quick question ❗️🤔

Would you leave this open… or close it in like this?

All I did here was add wood infill under the deck — didn’t touch the stairs.

Simple change, but it made the whole space feel way more finished.

Keep it natural or stain it darker?

Would you redo this in your kitchen?🤔

A homeowner asked me to remove the old cracked caulking along this countertop and apply a new clean seal.

The old caulking was starting to separate from the backsplash, which can let moisture get behind the counter over time.

It’s a small fix, but it makes the whole kitchen look cleaner.

Curious what people think:

Do you redo caulking when it starts cracking like this, or wait until it gets really bad?
