If the Swiss trains traveling through what is now the world's longest tunnel (35 miles!) - at speeds of 150 mph and at a depth of up to 8,000 below ground - were not air conditioned, temperatures on board would reach 118 degrees Fahrenheit. Jules Verne never expected this!

The SureChill Fridge stays cold 24 hours a day - but only has to be plugged in at night. Its insulated walls are filled with water. At night you run it to freeze the water inside its walls. In the morning you unplug it and it continues to refrigerate whatever is inside it throughout the day. Leaving the Nest. Nest's Revolv Hub, which allows uses to control lighting, security features, and the temperatures in their home long distance (by way of an app) will stop working on May 15. No word, as of yet, as to whether the thermostats themselves will still work.
