This gentleman thought he would never have a nice lawn. The front yard gets a lot of sun and was nuked by the drought this year. We killed the existing grass and sowed a new Turf Type Tall Fescue seed. This grass type has great sun and drought resistance, naturally dark(so less fertilizer needed) and has a finer texture than most Tall Fescues. Also it is self repairing and spreads on its own. This grass type is a great high performance/low maintenance cultivar for people who are busy want a nice lawn without a lot of work. Take a look at these before and after pictures. This is 5 weeks after seeding and will look even better next spring. Look at that lawn domination line against his neighbor.
