All gave some. Some gave all.

Today, we remember the heroes who never made it home, the men and women who selflessly gave their lives in service to our nation.

May we never forget the cost of freedom or the sacrifice made by so many. Their sacrifice is woven into every moment of freedom we experience.

From all of us at Sauer Group, we honor and remember the fallen this Memorial Day.

Growth in infrastructure doesn’t happen without the spaces that support it! This fabrication shop is one that will go on to support many projects and job sites across Ohio and beyond. We’re incredibly excited to be working within the Polymer Alliance Zone and grateful for the partnerships and relationships being built throughout this community. This is how we Build Better!

More industrial growth is happening inside the PAZ region.

Sauer Group ,LLC, a Columbus, Ohio–based mechanical contracting and fabrication company, has officially established operations at the Polymer Alliance Zone Industrial Complex in Wood County.

The company recently took possession of an 80,000 sq. ft. facility in Davisville and began initial work activities on March 1. Sauer Group plans to continue ramping up operations over the next two years, with the potential to create up to 40 jobs.

Sauer Group provides a wide range of industrial and mechanical services, including:
• Process piping
• Industrial fabrication
• Equipment installation
• Instrumentation
• Industrial maintenance

Their expansion further strengthens the growing manufacturing and industrial supply chain developing across the Mid-Ohio Valley and West Virginia.

“This is exactly the type of company we want to see growing in the Polymer Alliance Zone,” said Keith Burdette, Executive Director of PAZ.

Announcements like this continue reflecting the growing momentum surrounding industrial development, advanced manufacturing, and regional investment throughout the PAZ footprint.

Every day, our team is committed to Building Better.

At one of our central Ohio pharmaceutical projects, our team installed 20” spiral ductwork to provide air to an ambient storage space. This work was completed at elevations exceeding 80 feet, requiring careful coordination, planning, and a strong commitment to safety.

In addition, our team installed 16 destratification fans throughout the space. These fans help improve air circulation in large areas by preventing warm air from collecting at the ceiling, creating a more balanced and efficient environment.

Projects like this are a reminder that what we build has a greater purpose! This facility will play a role in bringing healing to those who need it most, and we are proud to do our part in Building Better and Being Better every step of the way!

We are wrapping up Construction Safety Week 2026, and want to say thank you to everyone who showed up, spoke up, and leaned in this week.

The theme this year, Recognize, Respond, and Respect, showed up everywhere, in field conversations, trainings, reminders, and the way our teams looked out for one another.

And our team said it best:

Safety is going home to your family at the end of the day. It’s watching out for the people next to you. It’s speaking up when something doesn’t look right. It’s doing the job the right way, even if and when it’s the hard way. It’s making sure nobody ever has to question if they’re protected on site.

Safety is our standard and a core value at Sauer Group. This week reinforced what we already live every day on site.

Proud of the work, grateful for our team.

Construction Safety Week has been a great opportunity to reinforce what safety leadership looks like across every level of our team. This year’s focus on Recognize, Respond, and Respect aligns directly with the direction we continue to push as a company.

Our project managers and upper management teams have become increasingly involved in the field through weekly observation walks, jobsite reviews, and direct engagement with crews onsite. These walks focus on recognizing hazards and safe work practices, responding to concerns and opportunities in real time, and respecting the people performing the work every day.

This visibility and involvement continues to strengthen accountability throughout the entire project team, from field personnel to leadership. Safety conversations are happening more often, observations are being documented and addressed, and positive behaviors are being recognized across our jobsites.

At Sauer Group, we continue striving to Do Better, Be Better, and Build Better, and that commitment starts with creating a culture where safety remains a shared responsibility every day so that everyone goes home safely every single day.

PPE may seem like a simple reminder — until the moment it prevents a life-changing injury.

At Sauer Group, we maintain strict safety standards because there is no shortcut worth risking someone’s life. Hard hats, gloves, safety glasses, high-visibility gear, steel-toe boots, harnesses, tie-offs, proper fall protection — it all matters, especially during picks, setting equipment, working with cranes and lifts, working at elevation, and navigating active jobsites.

The hazards are real, which is why the standards are too. We do not “look the other way” when it comes to safety, and PPE violations are taken seriously. Accountability protects people.

Most incidents happen during tasks people have done hundreds of times before. That’s why the routine things matter so much — the harness check, putting the gloves back on, speaking up when something doesn’t look right, taking the extra second to do things safely instead of quickly.

At the end of the day, the goal is simple: everyone goes home safe.

This is how we Do Better, Be Better, Build Better.

Today marks the start of Construction Safety Week, a time for our industry to pause, refocus, and recommit to what matters most on every project: sending every person home safely at the end of the day.

At Sauer Group, safety is a foundational cornerstone in how we Build Better, not just simply a one-week campaign. This week is a time to refocus, to remind ourselves of the “why.”

It’s in the way we plan, the way we build, and the way we look out for one another in the field. Every task, every install, every day, and every milestone is built on the trust that no one gets hurt doing the job.

This week, we will be highlighting what safety looks like in action across our work: the importance of PPE, the mindset behind building safer for the people who rely on these spaces, and the responsibility we all share to say something when we see something, to stop work when needed, to stay aware, and to take care of each other.

Beyond the mechanical systems that we build, we build spaces where people work, where healing takes place, where life-saving medications are made, spaces where critical infrastructure is sustained, and so much more.

Our responsibility extends beyond quality and schedule. It starts with safety; for our teams, for our partners, for every family connected to what we build.

This is how we Do Better, Be Better, Build Better.

Growth in infrastructure doesn’t happen without the spaces that support it.

Our new 80,000 sq ft fabrication shop expands our ability to meet increasing demand across Ohio and beyond, especially as advanced manufacturing and large-scale infrastructure projects continue to accelerate across the region.

With dedicated space for millwrights, sheet metal, piping, and plumbing, space to collaborate as a team, and so much more, this facility strengthens how projects move from concept to completion, in turn supporting aggressive schedules and demands, greater coordination, and long-term growth.

None of this growth happens without our people! The craftsmanship, commitment, and pride our teams bring every day are what make this possible and what continue to push us to do better, be better, and build better.

We’re just getting started! More updates to come as this shop continues to take shape!

On site today and every day, we're building a space that will help bring life-saving medications to the people in our community. At Sauer Group, we pay attention to every detail because we know this work impacts real lives. What we build today is a step toward a healthier tomorrow and a healthier community.

Do Better, Be Better, Build Better.

April is National Welding Month!

This is a chance to recognize the work that holds our projects together long after the job is done.

From the fab shop to the field, welding plays a critical role in how systems come together. It requires attention to detail, steady hands, and the kind of experience that only comes from doing the work day in and day out.

That standard shows up in the details: clean welds, strong and consistent installs, and work that’s built to perform under real conditions.

Demand for skilled welders isn’t slowing down. With hundreds of thousands already in the field and infrastructure expanding nationwide, the need for experienced welders continues to grow, and that level of craftsmanship matters more than ever.

This month, we’re recognizing the people behind the work, the ones who take the time to get it right.

Do better. Be better. Build better.
