Gave this home in Hilliard a nice facelift yesterday. Installed new CertainTeed Landmark pro shingles, weather wood is the color.

The last couple pictures are of the existing step flashing that was original to the house. The customer had another large, well known company reroof it 12-13 years ago, they cut corners and didn’t install proper size flashing and the customer paid thousands out of pocket for repairs. This is why it’s important to ask your contractor how much experience they actually have. Most guys see a stucco wall and immediately want to flash to the outside and grind a big groove out of your wall. That process is extremely unnecessary if you actually know what you’re doing.

Another one in the books! 2 layers of shingles removed and replaced with CertainTeed landmark Colonial Slate. Also tore off and replaced 2 flat roofs with new 0.60 TPO.

Upgraded this homeowners gutters today! Out with the 5” and in with the 6”. Also installed 6” Sure Flo gutter guards to prevent debris from reaching the underground drain tiles.

Removed existing steel gutters, installed 1x8” facia board, custom facia wrap, 5” gutters and 2”x3” downspouts. Also had to remove the existing drip edge before installing the facia board so it would sit flush and not pin the old drip edge between. This also changes the overhang of the existing roof so Iinstalled nuw gutter apron to prevent water running behind the new gutters and facia.

Without installing facia board the new gutters would be screwed directly into the rafter tails that have large holes in them from the old steel gutter spikes. The new gutters would be falling off the house within a couple months if facia boards weren’t installed.

Replaced some trim and crown molding on this bay window, relined the box gutter with 0.60 reinforced EPDM, cut back the old shake siding and fit some custom bent “Z” flashing. Formed a cleat, some drip edge and installed. Now to make some copper panels to install and add a trim board under the “Z” flashing to finish it off!

Very tedious, but I prefer doing this kind of custom work over anything else. Thanks for looking! Please feel free to like and share!

Finally got the drone up for some pictures of the finished product! Back rubber roof is on hold until further notice but will eventually get new TPO as well.

1 man 16 hours, 1 layer tear off and prep on a 12/12 pitch! Tomorrow I’ll start the install, this one is get CertainTeed Carriage House, color is going to be Black pearl! These come with 10 shingles in a bundle and there are 5 bundles per square !Finished pictures to come in a couple days.

If you know, you know! Customer called back in January and had me out to temporarily tack up her facia wrap because she had Ravens trying to build a nest in the soffit.

She called last week and said she would like the whole gable replaced with new metal. Picked up a roll of metal, fabricated 40’ of new and installed it this afternoon!

Yesterday’s job in Hilliard! Removed the existing shingles and 3 skylights that were inches apart. Installed new underlayment, shingles and 3 Velux skylights.

No job to big or too small!

Full roof replacement! Installed 25 year GAF lifetime shingles, color is Barkwood. Also installed 2 square of fully adhered 0.60 mil EPDM rubber on the low slope roof,the previous contractor actually installed shingles on the low slope which created interior problems for the homeowner.
