✨ Little Witch Magickal Garden Presents: Today’s Harvest Fae Edition! ✨

From Magickal Garden to Fae Table: Spoon Tomato & Cucamelon 🧚🌱

Spoon Tomatoes (Solanum pimpinellifolium)
Also known as currant tomatoes, these are the smallest tomatoes in the world! At only ¼ to ⅜ of an inch, each one gives you a tiny, intense burst of sweet, juicy, and slightly tangy flavor. I first discovered these when my best friend Sandra Audra Doucette found them at a grocery store, bought a ton, and pickled them with whole garlic cloves, dill, and scallions. We went through countless jars and have been completely obsessed ever since!

Cucamelons (Melothria scabra)
These tiny, grape-sized fruits (about 1 to 2 inches) look like miniature watermelons but taste like crisp cucumbers with a hint of lime! I’ve grown these for a few years now, and because anyone visiting the garden immediately snacks on them, they never make it indoors. I did manage to throw a few into a batch of pickled spoon tomatoes recently—letting them sit as long as my patience allowed—and they were freaking delicious!

(Pro tip: If you want complete garden chaos, plant two near each other and good luck ever finding the harvest! Videos coming soon...)

These whimsical little fruits are perfect for any garden—not just Fairy or Goth themes. Kids (and my grandson!) adore them. They’re fantastic for helping pickier eaters try something new because they just feel so magickal to pick and eat right off the vine!

Your thoughts, words, and actions are all put out into the universe, where they manifest and return to you. You choose your path, and this is a key part of it: whatever you pour energy into—whatever you feed—grows.

Doing the work isn't easy; it can be hard and painful, but it is ultimately freeing. At our core, there are really only two foundational feelings: love and fear. Everything else stems from them.

So ask yourself: What are you watering? Are you acting out of love or out of fear?

You get to decide what you grow. If something isn't serving your highest good, let go and stop feeding it. It took me decades to stop focusing on what I lacked and finally see everything I already had. That shift was a total game-changer for me. I stopped trying to fill the voids left by others with more people creating more holes, and I started filling them myself.

The amount of healing that happens when you give yourself permission to heal—and stop holding on to people who use and abuse you out of fear—is indescribable.
