Sometimes all I want to do is talk out my stresses with someone. Word vomit, if you will. My mind goes a million miles an hour and I feel like I’m just hanging on for the ride. I think and think and think about interactions with people, what has been, what could happen. We are often told we need to talk things out with someone, seek a therapist, psychiatrist, get our thoughts out. I’m not advising against this because I don’t know all of you, however, the Bible tells us to ponder in our own hearts and be silent. Put your trust in the Lord. Call on Him when we have worries. He is the one that can see ahead what we need and he knows our heart’s current state. This is extremely difficult for me to do in almost all situations. I often times feel alone and like I cannot talk to anyone who would understand. Two lovely women of God have gently reminded me lately that I am never alone. I have the one person who knows all of my fears and struggles and that is always listening to my thoughts and that will always look out for me. Things may not always happen as I expect but I fully trust that God has the better plan for me because only He has the full picture. Do not delay in your walk with God. Do not be lukewarm. Go to him with your thoughts, struggles, convictions and praises. Have a blessed Sunday!
