Friday update from the Grand Junction Materials Recovery Facility ♻️🏗️

This facility is being equipped with advanced artificial intelligence (AI) and automated optical sorting systems, designed and built by Bulk Handling Systems (BHS). At its core is an automated plastic and container sorting line built to process up to 12 tons per hour, giving Grand Junction a smarter, faster way to recover recyclables.

This week the sorting line kept taking shape, with conveyors, screens, and platforms set in place.
