Low water crossing we wrapped up recently.

This driveway was washing out every time it rained, with water overtopping the road and blowing everything out.

We tied into existing culverts and built a 6” reinforced concrete crossing designed to handle the flow—water runs through the culverts during light rain, and safely flows over the top during heavy rain without washing it out.

• Prepped and graded to match existing drainage
• Formed and poured headwalls and crossing
• #3 rebar on 12” centers
• Finished to control water flow and prevent erosion

Now instead of losing the driveway every storm, the water flows where it’s supposed to.

Simple, solid, and built to last.

Been busy knocking out a variety of projects lately here in North Texas.

We recently wrapped up Jeremy’s place — driveway, sidewalks, and a 15×40 addition poured right before the rain hit. Everything tied in clean and came out solid.

Also finished up a small sidewalk for a lady in Whitesboro that turned out great and gave her a much safer, cleaner walkway.

Right now I’m working on a couple of shop aprons for my brother’s in-laws, along with filling in some flower beds around their house. The areas stay shaded and wouldn’t grow anything, so we’re turning them into clean, low-maintenance concrete instead. That’s something more people are starting to do, and it can really clean up the look of a place while eliminating upkeep.

Proud to wrap up concrete improvements this week at Pioneer Arena and Events in Muenster, Texas.

This historic arena has been hosting rodeos and ropings since the 1960s, and it’s gearing up for the Roughstock Affair tomorrow at 5 pm. Adrian has been putting in serious work to freshen things up, and Ford Concrete was honored to help get it event-ready.

We poured new concrete under the bleachers and along the arena strip — cleaner, safer, and built to handle high-traffic use.

If you’re headed to the Roughstock Affair, take a look around. A lot of effort went into bringing new life to a North Texas staple.

It’s been a tough few weeks with everything going on with the loss of my dad, but I’m still out here working and keeping things moving for Ford Concrete.

Just wrapped up Trent Hodgkinson driveway project this week — a lot of prep, a lot of concrete, and a whole lot of helping this place come together. Proud of how it turned out.

Thank you to everyone who’s reached out or been patient with me lately. I appreciate every bit of it.

Ford Concrete Update
We recently completed the new sidewalk project at Whitesboro High School. The job included a 250-ft main section plus an additional 160-ft offshoot and ADA ramps tying into the existing parking lot.

Even with a few rain delays, we pushed through and are proud of the results. Always glad to do work that directly benefits students, staff, and the community here in North Texas.

Been a busy stretch lately.
We just wrapped up a big slab pour for Jeremy Luttmer in Collinsville and working on new sidewalks over at Whitesboro High School. Got more jobs lined up, but wanted to take a minute to share some of the recent work.

Wrapping One Up, Starting Another
The Davidson slab has cured out beautifully — crisp, white, and ready to be turned into an awesome shop/man cave.

Now we’re onto the next big build: an 80×52 slab with grade beams trenched and ready for rebar.
