My name is Tony Catanzaro and I am the owner of Regency Landscape LLC, I want to share with you my background and history. I have been involved in the green industry just about my whole life starting at age 5 helping my Father with our family owned nursery where we propagated landscape ornamental trees and shrubs. I also had the pleasure of working alongside my grandfather who was an old world art
isan mason from Italy. When my father eventually closed that business down I took my horticultural skills with me as I earned extra money in high school by doing gardening for local homeowners. As I worked I attended County College of Morris and earned a degree in Landscape Management and Design. I then continued my education through the years including attending and earning various professional certificates from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey in landscape design and other landscape industry specialties. Through many years of involvement in the industry both statewide and nationally I have been in leadership roles in the Professional Landscape Alliance of New Jersey and the Certified Landscape Technician Program of New Jersey. In addition to being a Certified Landscape Technician I also became a Certified Interlocking Concrete Paver Installer (ICPI), A Certified Belgard Installer, and a Certified Techo-Bloc installer. Regency Landscape has in past years had the honor of winning 5 design/build awards for both its commercial and residential projects from the New Jersey Landscape Contractors Association. Selections of our projects have been featured in a book by Tina Skinner called Creative Patios. Over the years I spent some time writing a monthly column for the Gardener News and have been featured/interviewed/ in many trade publications and gardening magazines as well. By my best estimate 7 out of 10 jobs we do is replacing or renovating a landscape installation that is less than 5 years old. The reason is poor workmanship and bad design. At Regency our goal is to install long lasting landscape projects that will gain beauty and value as the years go by. Our careful design process and superior installation practices help insure your landscape will be one you will be proud of and enjoy for decades! I personally oversee and work on every job we do and we only do one project at a time so you know your project will get our 100% effort and attention. Of course the best landscape design projects will fail without proper maintenance practices. I have always said nothing ruins good design like bad maintenance! So you can rest easy knowing we can maintain what we install and who better to maintain it than the people that built it and know what the vision was in the first place?
