I’ll bet you didn’t know your JET drum sander could do this… 👀
One of my favorite little shop tricks. Stack the boards just right and the sander pulls the next one through automatically. Not life changing… but when you’re sanding a mountain of boards, it sure feels like it 😂

If you’ve ever tried drilling shelf pin holes by hand… you already know the stress. 😂 Measure, re-measure and somehow they’re still crooked. This jig keeps everything perfectly spaced so the shelves actually sit level without fighting it the whole way through. Simple tools like this are worth their weight in gold in a woodshop.

“I trust this more than glue. Any day.” It’s not the flashy part of a build, but this is what keeps things solid for the long haul.
Pocket holes have been around forever for a reason. They’re simple, strong and they just plain work. I use this setup on just about every piece that comes out of my shop.
You won’t ever see it in the finished product… but years from now, it’ll still be doing its job. That’s the kind of craftsmanship I care about.
