For years I wanted to replace a faucet in the laundry room. I finally decided to DIY it. The cabinet is narrow, the tub is large, so not a lot of room to work in.
Day 1: Received new faucet from Amazon. Discover the flex lines are a foot too short for my needs. Order longer lines.
Day 2: Receive new lines. Remove old faucet (very painful on my back). Discover that the instructions require plumbers putty. Discover my tub of same is hard as a rock. Order new tub of putty.
Day 3: Receive new Putty. Use as per instructions. Wait until next day for putty to harden
Day 4: With help from Susan holding the new faucet in place, get it mounted and flex pipes installed. It works, BUT the hot line drips a bit from the old shutoff valve. Try numerous ideas, finally one seems to have worked. Decide to wait until morning before putting tools away.
Day 5: All is well - Finally
