New neighbors moved in next door on Sackett Ave. The padlocked chain on our gate was removed and they started using our patio to work on cars, according to neighbors. The property was littered with toys and other household items, some hanging over our fence onto their rental. I knocked on their door to ask why and was assaulted with expletives and challenged to show proof of ownership.
Cleveland Police Second District came shortly after I phoned their non emergency number to report the crime in progress, as they continued to curse at me as I allowed them to reclaim the items strewn around Baba’s Yard Garden Sanctuary. Officer Bolar informed the neighbors they could not trespass further. She was very professional and courteous. When I spoke with our other neighbors, they described already having had negative interactions with the new neighbors also.
