Tonight’s dinner was brought to you via a crock pot. Chuck roast with potatoes, carrots and onions just hit the spot! This roast had bones, I think that makes a difference in the flavor. What is your preference bone in or boneless?

These Little Cheddar Meatloaves have been a staple in our household for years. Here’s the recipe.

1 lb lean ground beef
1 egg
1/2 cup quick oats
1 cup cheddar cheese
1/2 cup chopped onion
3/4 cup milk
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper

Mix together, make into 8 small loaves by hand, place in 13x9x2 pan.

2/3 cup ketchup
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp prepared mustard

Mix glaze ingredients together. Top meatloaves with glaze evenly with a spoon.

Bake in a 350 degree oven for 45 to 50 minutes or until centers are cooked thoroughly.
