What happens when you take an entire toy catalog and turn it into paper beads?
HUNDREDS of colorful paper strips, that's what!

I decided to put my paper cutter to work and turn an ordinary toy catalog into something extraordinary. No measuring, no marking, just cutting and seeing what happens!

Then came the fun part—rolling the strips into beads! Some turned out beautifully, some were surprising, and one even tried to escape! 😂

AND I'M GIVING AWAY SOME OF THE STRIPS!

This isn't my usual style, I made it a friend who loves pink! I used 65lb card stock for the beads. I put the glitter on between the coats of glaze. Meet Red and Scarlet — my newest paper bead creations, and they’re just the right amount of creepy for Halloween.
In my new tutorial, I’ll show you how to make your own poseable paper bead spider from start to finish. We’ll make the paper beads, build the body, bead all eight legs, and put everything together so your spider can stand, hang, pose… or apparently dance. 😂
The best part? You can completely change the look with different papers, colors, and beads, so every spider can have its own personality.
