Starting our next deck project!

This one will feature TimberTech decking, custom lighting, and custom-built benches.

We’re currently tackling the site prep, adding fill beneath the deck to establish positive drainage, along with installing underground drainage for the downspouts and sump pump discharge.

Tomorrow, we’ll be installing helical piers for the deck footings, giving this project a solid foundation from the ground up.

A nice upgrade with an important purpose.

We removed a cracked egress window well that was allowing sand to wash in, potentially causing issues with the foundation perimeter drain.

Our crew installed a new Marvin Ultimate window, RockWell egress window well, and hinged cover for a clean, durable finished product.

Great progress taking place at the Indiana Retina Center!

Our crew has been busy with the interior build-out, including new walls, drywall, flooring, and finish work as the space continues to take shape.

Helical piers are changing the way foundations are built.

From decks and additions to commercial buildings, retaining walls, docks, and equipment foundations, helical piers provide a fast, engineered foundation solution with minimal excavation and no waiting on concrete to cure. They’re increasingly being used where soil conditions, speed, or limited site access make traditional footings less practical. (PierTech⁠)

We’re proud to be a PierTech Certified Installer, bringing this technology to Northern Indiana and Southern Michigan.

What a great day on the course with an even better group of guys.

Had the chance to spend the day with Tavis from Quality Window & Door, Inc., KJ from Schmidt Electric & AV, and Clem from Seven Hills Electric at the BANCI Golf Outing hosted at Tippecanoe Lake Country Club.

The golf was decent, the weather was perfect, and the laughs were nonstop. The highlight of the day might have been Tavis proving he’s apparently part golfer, part gymnast, dropping into a full split on the green to line up a putt. Safe to say not everyone is willing to go that far to shave a stroke off their score! 😂

Events like this are a great reminder of how strong the relationships are within our local construction community. Thanks to BANCI for putting on another outstanding outing and giving everyone an opportunity to connect outside the jobsite.

Looking forward to next year!
