These are the white stripes for the next flag not only can you see the grooves? You can actually feel them too because I use the Japanese method which I forgot how to pronounce, but it involves burning the wood, and then using a wire brush to scrape the wood and then three coats of white paint. It really is a lot of work.

The 5-Foot Flag Is Complete!
That was some hard work—but absolutely worth it.
I’ll be building one more like this before moving on to some larger flags featuring the full 50-star union. Getting everything lined up was a challenge I can only describe as unreal, but every detail came together within 1/64 of an inch. That level of precision is the kind of quality and craftsmanship you can expect from my work.
This 5-foot handcrafted flag is made from pine and includes a steel wire hanger on the back for easy mounting.

This is a super sweet end grain cutting board I made today. I might just keep this one!! I still have to put juice grooves and possibly a handle of some kind on them but overall I’m very happy with them. I took this one down to a 2000 grit(super smooth) you can even see a reflection in it 😎😂

Working on some cutting boards made from dark walnut, Purple Heart and cherry. Was going to go with hard maple but I didn’t see any at the mill when I went for wood. These are both edge grain. I’m working on a super sweet end grain and plan to have it done middle of next week.
