Children’s literacy was a cause close to Dolly Parton’s heart. To help continue this mission, we have a selection of books for free on a cart in the lobby of Marvin Memorial Library. All children should have access to books and we want children in our community to be readers!

If your child is under the age of 5, they are eligible for The Imagination Library. Each month the organization sends a free book directly to your home. Information about the program is available at the library or at https://imaginationlibrary.com.

The Summer Book Sale is still happening today and tomorrow during library hours! Stop by to pick up reading materials for the entire family!

Stop by our Summer Book Sale that begins tonight at 4pm! We have tons of books for sale this time around. Books, cds, and DVDs are all $5 for a grocery size bag. Puzzles of all sizes are $1!

Everyone get ready to stock up! Our Summer Book Sale is THIS WEEK! We have tons of new to you books to shop this sale. As always, a full bag of books is $5! All genres, ages and sizes. Media like cds, DVD and blu ray can be found as well. All puzzles are only $1!

It’s time to stock up before we head into fall and winter because what is better on a fall evening than curling up with a book or hanging out with a loved one working on a puzzle?

We will post some sneak peeks as we get closer!

📚11:45 - return to the library
🍕12:00 - enjoy free pizza for lunch
🎁12:30 - draw 3 door prizes, each for $100 gift certificates to local businesses

We have our Summer Book Sale next week plus Marvin Memorial Library still has other events…and AC! Stop by yourself or with the whole family.

🌞 Summer Reading has wrapped up, and August gives us a chance to tap the brakes and gear up for a fresh new season of school‑year programs and events. But don’t let the slower pace fool you—there’s still plenty happening at the library all month long! We can’t wait to see you at the library this month.
