Mother Nature is amazing.
I find this wood in marshy areas. This one is oak, and caught later in to mushrooms decomposition of the tree, so it is darker. Not only that, but it is more brittle. So I dilute and fit it in a bottle to slowly pour into the wood. This allows me to use this green wood in my jewelry applications without it falling apart.
