The MGE Property Solutions team had the opportunity to attend the Global Quantum Forum 2026 in Chicago, where global leaders, researchers, entrepreneurs, and policymakers came together to discuss the future of quantum computing, quantum sensing, and emerging technologies.

Throughout the forum, our team engaged with industry experts, explored cutting-edge quantum demonstrations, and attended thought-provoking sessions featuring leaders such as Candace Parker, Christy George, President & CEO of the Illinois Economic Development Council, and Brad Henderson, CEO of P33 Chicago.

At MGE Property Solutions, we believe that staying informed on emerging technologies and building meaningful industry connections helps us continue to grow, innovate, and prepare for the future.

**2 Rounds of Strong to Significant Severe Weather Today**

- Significant severe weather is possible today across northern Illinois as 2 rounds of thunderstorms are expected. The first round will develop around lunchtime today and will move east through northern Illinois from 12pm-7pm. A second round will develop this evening and will move through tonight 6pm-12am. Both mcs/squall line complexes could contain 60-80 mph wind gusts and hail as well as torrential rainfall, which could lead to flooding. The tornado threat will be greatest this evening, and we will monitor both rounds of an embedded qlcs tornado risk. The greatest tornado risk today will be across Minnesota and Iowa, closer to the low-pressure center.
