A bee visiting my Mexican sunflower 🐝🌻

With the last week of October here, I know these little garden visitors will be getting harder to spot soon. I’ll enjoy every last one I get to see before spring brings them back. 💛

Good morning! ☀️🌼 These okra flowers still brighten my mornings when I head out into the garden. Earlier this spring, I kept missing them, so now I love catching them in bloom. Such a pretty little part of the garden that I’m thankful to still enjoy. 💛

Still getting snap pea flowers in the garden! 🌱💚

Did you know snap peas can handle a light frost? They usually can tolerate temperatures down to around 28°F, so they can keep growing when some of your summer plants are calling it quits.

A little cold weather doesn't always mean the garden is done!

My Black Hungarian peppers found a way to keep growing! 🌶️❤️

This was an extra plant I tucked into the garden bed and one of our storms knocked it over without me even noticing.

It kept growing along the ground and now we have surprise peppers! 😅😁🌶️

My begonias are still so full and covered in little pink flowers. 🌸💗

I’m enjoying these blooms while they’re still going strong.

A little color like this makes it hard to believe we’re so far into fall!

Good morning! 🍂

Heading out to do a little yard cleanup today. My celosia is still looking good but my pepper plants started dropping leaves this week, so I brought a bunch inside to overwinter.

I decided to try it with a few eggplants, too. I read that you can cut them back just like pepper plants, so we’ll see how it goes! 🌶️🍆

Has anyone tried overwintering eggplants before?
