Those huge icicles hanging from your roof and gutters are created when the snow melts and runs down to the gutters and freezes.

The main reason this happens is because your insulation in your attic is not thick enough. Consider adding insulation to help lower your gas bill and to prevent damage caused by the "ice dams".

Fixed a problem in South Holland, homeowner had an ice dam that was allowing water into the home. I installed blown-in insulation and added ventilation to repair the problem. This problem is repaired from the inside NOT the outside! Call for an appointment.
