🔌⚡ A SECOND OPINION CAN SAVE YOU THOUSANDS.
Today we were called out to a home after another electrician diagnosed an A/C circuit as defective and recommended running an entirely new electrical line because the unit supposedly wasn’t receiving enough voltage.
Before replacing anything, we tested it. 🧰⚡
✅ 30A double-pole breaker — 240V
✅ A/C disconnect — 240V
✅ Power at the outdoor unit — 240V
The electrical circuit was functioning properly.
What we did find was that the A/C breaker had been mislabeled in the electrical panel, which likely contributed to the confusion during the previous diagnosis.
Instead of selling the homeowner an expensive electrical repair they didn’t need, we explained that the problem was within the HVAC system and recommended having a qualified HVAC technician take it from there.
