On the go. No two days are the same, and thatā€™s one of the many reasons I love the design processā€”taking thoughtfully crafted concepts and bringing them to life.

From sketching ideas, meeting with stone fabricators to tape out selections and refine edge details, stopping by the atelier to talk through upholstery details, meeting with the metalsmith on brass finishes and patina, site meetings with contractors, landscape architects and clients, refining lighting layouts, and time in the studio with our team bringing the design to life through drawings, sourcing vintage pieces, textiles and material selectionsā€¦ preparing for the meetings ahead.
Itā€™s the mix of creative, travel, technical, and hands-on collaborations that makes every day different and keeps the design process so rewarding.

Happy itā€™s Fridayā€¦ and that itā€™s coat weather in Chicago! šŸ–¤

A peek into the dining room where there are late 20th Century Collectible, black leather Monk Dining Chairs by Afra & Tobia Scarpa, sourced vintage. A balance of form and function, with a focus on simplicity, elegance, and craftsmanship.

Two heads are better than one. Cleo & I woke with the sunrise to source vintage treasures. Embracing raw & refined, old & newā€¦ walking each aisle more than onceā€¦ you see something different the second time around. Always on the hunt for something specialā€¦ and to give an old piece a new spirit & space to shine. Enjoy the process āœØ

A special milestone: our work is included in the October issue of The World of Interiors, in the Interiors Portfolio.
The World of Interiors is a magazine Iā€™ve collected for many years. Seeing our studio represented here for the first time feels especially meaningful.
Thank you to our clients, to our incredible team who helped bring this project to life and the editors for their kind words. Congratulations on a beautiful October issue!
