We are excited to announce the launch of Energea’s newest investment portfolio, LATAM Energy. The portfolio’s cornerstone investment is in Helios Energía, a regulated Colombian utility delivering off-grid solar power to more than 20,000 rural and indigenous subscribers under a government-backed framework. For many families, this will be the first time they have ever had access to electricity.

With LATAM Energy, Energea is expanding its investments across multiple Latin American countries within the distributed generation framework, supporting the continued development of renewable energy infrastructure throughout the region.

Energea has acquired a new asset for the Community Solar in Brazil portfolio: the Pains Project, a fully operational 1.312 MW DC solar facility in the municipality of Pains, Minas Gerais. The portfolio is investing $1,281,121 at a projected 15.00% IRR in USD. Because the project is already operating with an established subscriber base, it begins generating revenue immediately and enhances the portfolio’s stability and long-term cash flow profile.
