This skylight had reached the point where replacement made more sense than continuing to repair around it. We removed the old skylight and installed a new one with the proper flashing system to integrate it with the existing roof.
The result: a cleaner installation, better protection from leaks, and a skylight that’s ready for years of service.

There's a certain luxury in controlling sunlight with the push of a button.

We recently installed VELUX skylights with remote-operated blinds — because getting up to adjust the blinds went out of style around the same time as rotary phones.

Flood the room with light, dim it when the sun has other plans, or close it entirely and sleep in a little longer. All without leaving the couch.
