ECHO Associates is a family owned and operated septic system pumping, inspection, repair, install and design company. We are looking for a Truck Driver/Heavy Equipment Operator that is well-rounded and has a strong work ethic. Must have a CDL, at a minimum. Class A and/or B drivers are a plus. Previous experience in the septic industry/construction is desired, and the pay will commensurate with that experience. The person hired will be trained in all aspects of the business -- i.e., septic and commercial pumping, septic system installing and septic repair work, and equipment operation.
Duties
• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and paving equipment with precision and safety.
• Drive and manage dump trucks and other commercial vehicles to transport materials to and from construction sites.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safe work environment.
• Assist with site preparation, grading, excavation, and material handling to support various phases of construction projects.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating equipment and driving trucks in diverse environments.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure timely delivery of materials and smooth workflow on-site.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, inspections, and transportation logs.
• Perform septic pumping and basic service work
Requirements
• Proven experience operating heavy machinery such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, or paving equipment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL)with a clean driving record. Prefer Class A or B license, but not a requirement.
• Ability to pass a drug screening
