Had such a fun time representing ST Window Painting at the Sunset Elementary career fair yesterday! 🎨🪟🖌️

It was awesome getting to talk with students about creativity, murals, window painting, running a small business, and turning art into a career. From sketching ideas to painting giant storefront windows and community murals, I loved showing how art can make a big impact in our community!

Thank you to Sunset Elementary for inviting me out and to all the students who stopped by my booth, asked questions, and got creative with me yesterday! 💙✨

Happy Mother’s Day to the woman who probably didn’t realize that when I started my window painting business, she also accidentally signed up to become a full-time nurse by day and volunteer artist assistant by night 😂❤️

From being my videographer for social media, helping paint on some of my bigger projects, running me snacks when my blood sugar gets low, and somehow always being there whenever I need help… I truly couldn’t do this without you.

She’s also officially left her mark on the business forever by spilling an entire gallon of white paint in the back seat of my car 😭🤣

And while I definitely did NOT inherit my artistic talent from her (sorry mom hahaha), I did inherit the willingness to show up for people and help however you can — and that means more than anything.

Thank you for supporting all my crazy ideas and being there through every late night, mural, window painting, and paint-covered disaster. Happy Mother’s Day ❤️

What an incredible morning for our community. ❤️ After months of planning, painting, collaboration, and hard work since January, we officially unveiled this mural before Mayfest yesterday morning!

This project would not have been possible without the amazing partnership and support from so many people and organizations. Huge thank you to Cheney Heart & Soul, Communities In Schools, the Cheney High School Art Club, Craft Cupboard, and ICCU for the generous donation that helped bring this vision to life.

A special thank you to all of the talented high school students who dedicated their time, creativity, and heart to this mural. Watching this project become something the community can enjoy together has been so rewarding.

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate the unveiling with us including the Cheney Police Department, Cheney Fire Department, Mayor Martin, city council member Rebecca Long, Congressman Michael Baumgartner, community partners, families, friends, and supporters. Seeing everyone gathered together in front of this mural reminded me exactly why community art matters so much.

This mural is more than paint on a wall — it represents connection, creativity, mentorship, and community pride here in Cheney. Thank you to everyone who believed in this project and helped make it happen. 🎨✨
