We don't post on here much, but I made a new years resolution to post one job on our FB page each month! Here is a bathroom remodel that we did in Ann Arbor recently. See how we take the 5' tub space, and use the extra 1' to put some shelves on the left side. Also notice, that I always love to add a 6" soffit above a shower, or tub, to give it the "alcove" look and feel. I'll put a picture of the recessed shelves in the comment section below.

So in keeping with my new years resolution to post at least one job per month, here is a job that we recently did in Chelsea. They wanted to get rid of their big 6' tub in their master bathroom, and turn it into a big 6' shower with a seat. We used 1' x 2' Porcelain for the walls, flat black rock on the shower floor, and Black Uba Tuba granite for the curb, seat, niche shelves, and top of half wall. From start to finish, it took 14 working days. (2.5 weeks) 😊

I should post more jobs, but we stay too busy doing jobs, and don't think about posting enough. My new years resolution is to post 1 job per month. So here is the first job post. We did this bathroom remodel in the Ann Arbor area this past summer. I have never seen a sunken cast iron tub, but here was our first encounter with one. It was their main floor bathroom that was the original bathroom from when the house was built in the 70's. We got rid of the bathtub, changed it to a shower, raised the drop ceiling over the new shower to a smaller 6" drop ceiling. Added a granite bench seat in the shower with a custom built in wall niche, with a new 4" LED recessed light . All new tile floor and walls of shower. Added a double sink instead of the original single sink and added wainscoting to match the rest of the house. "Like" our page to see more transformations this year!

We've been so busy that I forget to post, but here is a recent basement remodel that we just completed in the Dexter/Chelsea area. We added a bathroom by cutting out the concrete to route the drain pipes. And also added a new bedroom/office, since there was already a egress window in place. And lowered the whole ceiling to 8', since there was so much ductwork and beams to conceal. Then installed luxury vinyl flooring on insulation pad for added warmth on the whole basement floor including the bathroom. A great transformation with absolutely great people to work with!

Here is a picture of a total house remodel job that we did here in Chelsea. It's hard to show the "before" picture, because the kitchen was where the dining room is, and the dining room was where the kitchen is now. Also turned the mother in law suite into the new master bedroom suite! The floors are Brazilian Cherry floors, sanded and finished with a clear finish. Great customers!

2 years after we started this Sun Room addition, we finally found enough time to complete it! We always have to put our customers first, so sometimes our own projects take a lot longer! The picture on the left is what my wife gave me as a starting point that she wanted me to go with. The picture on the right is what we built for her. I added 4 skylights, more glass above the fireplace, added a TV niche above the fireplace, and Brazilian Cherry floors. Feel free to share our page for more "before and after" pictures of more projects coming up in the future!

Here are some before and after pictures of a total cottage renovation that I did for my "favorite customer" in Pentwater, MI. The cottage was built in 1929. We gutted 90% of the cottage, then installed all new electrical wiring. There hadn't been any insulation in the old cottage, so we installed foam in the ceilings and cellulose insulation in the walls. All new roof which included installing new plywood over the existing 1x8's, and replacing the rotten 1x4 fascia with new 2x4 fascia. Installed 1x6 shiplap on all interior walls vs drywall to give it the "cottage" look. One of the best surprises was when we pulled the old carpet up, there was old blackened stained Douglas Fir flooring. So we had it sanded and finished with 1 coat of oil finish, and then 2 coats of water borne finish. What an amazing floor it turned out to be! So much more, but that is the main points.

Here's a couple before and after progress pics on the 125+ year old farmhouse we started renovating last year! Tore the existing kitchen off, widened it 5' and added a second story master suite, as well. Second photo is the old kitchen which was beyond saving. First photo is the new kitchen! Stay tuned for cabinets to be installed soon 😁 Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and have a great weekend!
