The Knox Electrical Services van officially has a brand new look! Say goodbye to the white van and hello to this beautiful wrap!

But we figured if we were going to show off the new wrap, we should also show you a little more of what’s behind it.

Behind this van is a local family, a growing business, and a whole lot of hard work. Every time you see it headed down the road, there’s a family behind the business that’s incredibly grateful for every customer who has helped KES continue to grow.

Getting to watch the business grow alongside our family makes milestones like this mean a little more.

Storms have been rolling through our area lately, and there’s more weather on the way. ⛈️

Around here, it doesn’t take much to turn a storm into a long night without power.

One tree comes down across a power line. The electric company can’t touch it until a tree crew clears it. Crews are backed up across the area. Suddenly, what you thought would be a quick outage turns into 6, 8, even 12+ hours without electricity.

And that’s when you realize just how much of your home depends on it.

The food in the fridge and freezer starts warming up. No A/C in the middle of summer. No lights. No Wi-Fi. Devices start dying. If you work from home, work stops. And if you have a well pump or other important equipment relying on electricity, an outage becomes more than just inconvenient.

That’s why we install whole-home generators.

⚡ Another successful service upgrade completed in Statesville!

This homeowner was ready to install a Tesla Wall Connector, but first the existing electrical service needed to be brought up to today’s standards. We upgraded the home to a new 200 amp electrical service, giving them the capacity and reliability needed for EV charging and future electrical demands.

This project included:

✔️ New 200 amp meter base
✔️ New service riser and feeder cable
✔️ Updated grounding and bonding
