I received a call I never expected to get this morning when Cold Water Fire Department called to assist them and Georgeville Fires large animal rescue team to help a horse that had fallen into a septic tank. Once the tank was pumped out, the fire department was able to dig out the side of the tank so the horse could walk out. They did an excellent job rescuing him and I’m glad to see there’s a team ready to respond to these emergencies. Praying for the big guy, hoping he is able to recover from his injuries.
