Summer at the club looked just a bit different this year. While Carolina Golf Club stayed busy with golfers on the course and members enjoying the pool just steps from our work, our team stayed focused on keeping construction safe, clean and on schedule.

As we move into peak golf season, the clubhouse is really starting to take shape. There’s still plenty of work ahead, but the excitement continues to grow with every bit of progress!

We're honored to see The House at Contentment Golf Club recognized with an Honorable Mention in Golf Inc. Magazine's 2026 Clubhouse of the Year Awards. Built on generational family land and inspired by Appalachian farmhouses, barns, and churches, the clubhouse was designed by the family and C3AP to feel inherited rather than newly constructed. Three interconnected structures gather around a central courtyard, while porches, walkways, lounges, and family-style dining spaces invite members to slow down, linger, and connect. Every detail reflects the beauty of the surrounding landscape and a vision of creating a place that feels as welcoming as home.

Two years after Hurricane Helene, Western North Carolina continues to show what resilience looks like.

We've been fortunate to witness and be a part of communities coming together, supporting one another, and making meaningful progress in recovery efforts. The restoration of Montreat College's athletic facility gave us the opportunity to play a small role in that work by helping bring back a space that serves students, athletes, and the broader Montreat community.

We're grateful for the chance to be part of the ongoing story of recovery and proud to stand alongside so many people continuing to invest in the future of Western North Carolina.

The last few days at Juneberry Ridge were a great reminder of what makes One Barringer special. Our preconstruction teams from across all four offices came together to share knowledge, discuss the future of AI in preconstruction, and learn from one another's experiences.

Between a farm tour, mixology class, and time around the fire, we strengthened relationships and enjoyed the rare opportunity to gather as one team. We're grateful for the people, culture, and opportunities like this that allow us to learn from each other, build on each other's strengths, and continue delivering the best solutions for our clients.
