A laundry chute sounds simple until you don't have one.

It's a small detail, but it removes one more chore from a family's daily routine, and that's exactly the kind of feature we look for when designing a home around how people actually live.

Most of this home was already here.

The bones were traditional. The way this family wanted to live was not. So instead of starting over, David and the team asked a better question: what could this house become?

Outside, the exterior was reworked into clean lines and a sleeker profile, the pool was resurfaced, and a covered patio with an electric fireplace and full outdoor kitchen gave them a backyard they use in October, not just July.

Inside, the kitchen was rebuilt around flat panel European cabinetry and a hidden pantry, so the space stays calm and everything still has a home. The primary suite became a spa, quiet and warm and built for the start of the day.

A renovation done well should not feel like a house wearing a new outfit. It should feel like the home was always meant to look this way.

That only happens when someone listens first, then builds.

Four washers and dryers aren’t there for the novelty. They create capacity and efficiency for a busy household.
