We’re excited to let y’all in on our recently completed project with Wright Design Co..

This home got a full overhaul including the kitchen, dining room, family room, laundry room, mudroom, powder room, stairwell and this outdoor deck with brand new French doors.

Just in time for slightly cooler weather, this space will be a great one for this family to spend time together.

Stay tuned for more - it’s a beauty!

It’s time for our September roundup, y’all!

Lots of amazing things happening all over Charlotte and Lake Norman this month!

1️⃣ Getting to the end of our project in Montibello with Melinda Chesson Interiors and we absolutely love how the bathrooms are looking!
2️⃣ We’re down to punch list items at our Lake Norman project - the floating staircase is 🔥 and the exterior is freshly painted.
3️⃣ Drywall is up at the new sunroom in Providence Plantation
4️⃣ New stair treads and we had the flooring crew on site to sand and prep the hardwoods at
5️⃣ Highlight of the month was meeting up with the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) 20 club crew in Wisconsin. Love learning from this talented group of builders!

Bring on October! 👏👏

We’re sharing another remodeling mistake and this one is a big one, y’all!

Remodeling Mistake # 4️⃣: changing your mind after the project starts.

Every change order costs money. If there is a delay in the project because you are being indecisive, or your builder doesn’t have the information they need to move the project forward, the more the project will cost you - especially if you’re working on a cost+ contract.

At Watershed, we always encourage our customers to finalize their selections before we even sign a contract. The more decisions that are finalized at the beginning of the project, the better!

We're thrilled to introduce Josie Vegtar to y'all!

Josie joined the Watershed team last year and has been been an incredible addition to the team as our Executive Operations Coordinator.

Josie grew up in Morganton, NC, but has called Charlotte home for 19 years. She's very familiar with the construction industry as her dad worked in the field his whole career. After attending Wingate University and getting her degree in Sport Management, she worked for the Panthers and then the YMCA before making the switch to construction.

As Executive Operations Coordinator, Josie provides support to Dom and manages the financial side of every Watershed job.

Fun Fact: Josie wanted to be a Charlotte Firefighter and was one of a handful of female applicants. She also has been doing CrossFit since 2013.

When it comes to laundry rooms, are you more of a classic white space kind of person, or do you want to push the envelope a bit with darker cabinetry?

Either way, we think the space where y’all wash clothes every week should be tidy, functional, and a place you don’t mind spending time in.

Tell us, which one is on your dream list?

In the last post we shared that a few things were reconfigured in the kitchen remodel project in Myers Park, including where we placed the new MONOGRAM range. It now has plenty of space to shine in its new location.

A custom hood and plenty of cabinet storage space makes this wall a special one!
