We began our story in 2009 in Roswell, Georgia. After almost nine years in operation I, Andrew Powell, decided it was time to begin the next chapter by relocating to Charlotte. Yes, Atlanta traffic was THAT bad! When first arriving to Charlotte, I worked for a large, Charlotte-based commercial landscape company to better learn the Charlotte market. Immediately I saw that there was a need for honest, experienced and dependable lawn care in Charlotte. So with those vital business principles in mind, I launched Advanced Turf Care in Charlotte in the summer of 2019.

I have been in the horticulture industry since 2001, specializing in turfgrass management since 2004. I am passionate about this industry and there is nothing that I love more than seeing healthy, weed-free lawn. My goal is to recreate the standard in turfgrass management in Charlotte, one lawn at a time. It would be my pleasure to work with you in helping you achieve a landscape that you can take pride in.

I am licensed by the state of Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina Department of Agriculture for pesticide application for lawn care and public health (Mosquito control). I believe in the SAFE and RESPONSIBLE use of pesticides. From people to pets to pollinating insects, you can be assured that we take every precaution in consideration.

I am a native of Roswell, Georgia. I am a HUGE Georgia Bulldogs fan so you can find me watching all the games in the fall. While living in Georgia I also worked for the Roswell Fire Department for 11 years. I have a Springer Spaniel named Boss who often comes to visit customers with me. He loves all people so please make sure to say hi to him if you see him.
