A recently installed bar top/ serving counter that I installed. This was a great project and perfectly fits the space for my clients. They asked for a thick live edge walnut slab and we were able to do just that. A local sawmill had the perfect slab and I was able to flatten it and maintain the 2” final thickness. With some careful scribing this thing dropped right into place. Special thanks goes out to this family for trusting me to execute their dream for this space in their home.

This is one of the 2 planter rims that we fabricated from the reclaimed lumber that I mentioned in one of my previous posts. The wood rim is attached to the metal planter from underneath and then the trellis is set into the pockets that are mortised into the top edge of the rim and finally bolted down to the wood. I just love coming up with creative solutions to help make other people’s ideas come together.
