How to Help at Home:

Stop Flushing Meds: Never put expired or unwanted prescription drugs down the drain or toilet.

Use Commercial Washes: Professional car washes treat wastewater instead of letting soapy runoff enter local storm drains.

Pick Up Pet Waste: Animal waste contains nitrogen and bacteria that drain into waterways and harm aquatic life.

Sweep, Don't Hose: Use a broom instead of a hose on driveways to keep debris out of street drains.

Skip Harsh Fertilizers: Avoid chemical fertilizers containing phosphorus or nitrogen that can leak into local groundwater.

A huge thank-you to Livermore Fire and Chief Joel Meeter for trusting Water Works with your water treatment needs!

Their water started at an incredible 10,500 ppm of total dissolved solids (TDS), along with iron. After treatment, we brought the TDS down to just 16 ppm. They can now drink their water!
