Forgot to post a final video of this floor we did a few weeks ago. When we came on the job, it had a ridiculous amount of wax buildup on it. So the clients wanted to see something looking new. We always tell our clients to never use any products on your floor that are top coatings or that say “ adds shine, adds luster, rejuvenate” or any of those other nifty sales pitches. That I referred to his miracle in a bottle. All it does is sit on the surface your finish. Builds up overtime and creates a nasty mess. Talk to a hardwood flooring professional if you want to discuss proper maintenance of a hardwood floor.

This job took us five days start to finish. We demoed about 750 ft.² of carpet. Installed this gorgeous 6 inch select grade hickory to match the rest of the home. Sanded off all the disgusting oil base finish that turns your floors yellow and orange. Sealed and applied a water base product properly. That will yield the natural beauty of this floor for years to come..

This was our project for last week. Pulled out 750 sqft of carpet, install this beautiful 6 inch select hickory and sanded around 1400 sqft. Start to finish took us five days. This all started with a fridge leak and turned into transform this house.

Do not ever use products on your hardwood floor that say, rejuvenate, refresh, add shine or any of those what we call “ miracles in a bottle” consult with your local hardwood flooring pro before making any decisions. Luckily, we were able to correct this floor and bring it back to a thing of beauty.
