What do you do when your house has an odd shaped, old bar in the basement? You turn it into a super functional kitchenette! With a sink, microwave/convection oven, dishwasher, and a full fridge your guests will have their own space to make coffee and snacks. Meet the team! Originally from Chicago, IL, Sean Berek-Wiren moved to Colorado in 2014. Sean has been around the building industry for much of his life. He grew up working at his father’s cabinet company, doing work in both the shop and on job sites . After moving to Colorado, he worked first for a siding company and then for a local interior materials company that supplied the production home builders. It was there that he and Amelia met, and the rest, they say, is history.

Just before coming on board AKBI, Sean worked for Richmond Homes where he hired and maintained relationships with the trades that built the homes. After all of his extensive experience in the building industry, when his wife needed to bring a Project Manger on board, he was the perfect fit. Just like Amelia, he is committed to overseeing and managing your home remodel or build through to completion. Sean will make your dream home a reality.

Meet the Team! I am the owner and designer of Amelia's Kitchen and Bath Images. My grandma Lucille taught me to have the heart of a servant leader. She always supported my dreams and had no doubt I would achieve all the goals I set out to accomplish. She would be so proud to know I’m using my desire to help others achieve their goals by combining it with my passion for kitchen and bath design to guide homeowners along the path to creating their dream home.

My love of interior design started early. In 8th grade I did a project on my future profession and knew from that moment I would be a designer. I even went on to start drafting classes in high school. I continued my passion by studying interior design at Freed-Hardeman University where I took a class on kitchen and bath design and knew I had found my calling. I’ve worked as a designer in the kitchen and bath design industry since 2006 taking on production homes cabinetry, custom home builds, and all sizes of remodels. As a certified member of the National Kitchen & Bath Association my goal is to provide you with the knowledge to make your dream a reality!
